Brief
CONWOOD is located in Tbilisi Hills, offering a distinctive balance between urban accessibility and the tranquility of nature. The transition from the bustling city to a serene landscape inspired the home's concept, prioritizing openness and integration with the surroundings.
The house's architecture embodies the essence of minimalism, with pure forms crafted from concrete, wood, and glass seamlessly blending into the environment. The design focuses on fostering an intimate relationship with the outdoors, offering spaces that dissolve boundaries between interior and exterior. Inside, uncluttered layouts emphasize fluidity and purpose, while natural light and bamboo details temper the solidity of concrete, creating an interplay of textures that feels both grounded and inviting.
The upper floor is dedicated to private living quarters. A skylit entrance with bamboo elements defines the parents’ area, while the son’s space, characterized by rich wood tones, features a bedroom, bathroom, and a terrace with expansive views. These areas are linked by a shared terrace, encouraging moments of togetherness amidst privacy.
The ground floor is a hub of functionality and relaxation, featuring a streamlined living room centered around a minimal fireplace, an open dining and kitchen area, a gym, and a recreational space. Additional guest and staff quarters provide convenience, while the outdoor terrace, complete with a pool, serves as a serene gathering space.
The design weaves minimalism, natural materials, and thoughtfully curated lighting into an experience that elevates daily living while harmonizing with the natural landscape.
